A Special Day!

This past Saturday was a special day for my 6 year old son, Michael. He caught his first fish. It was a 10 1/2 inch rainbow trout. He asked if we could take it home and keep it. I told him we didn't have anywhere to put it. He replied, "we could put it in the swimming pool." lol

As a Father, this was a very special day for me too. I will never forget it. I'm thankful the Lord has blessed me with such a wonderful memory with my son.

I Need Your Help

With the beautiful weather over the weekend, maybe you decided to spend some time outdoors with your family. Well, that's exactly what I did and we had a great time. However, while I was outside I made a big mistake. I went swimming with my kids and some friends and I forgot to put on sunscreen. And now, both of my arms are sunburned. I didn't realize I was getting burned until it was too late. So, I am open to any suggestions of products or remedies that will help alleviate the discomfort of a sunburn. Do you know anything that works? Your help is greatly appreciated!

The Can Game

On Friday afternoon, we played the Can Game. We gave away movie tickets to Carmike Cinemas in Johnson City to the first person who could correctly identify what was in the can. So, what was in the can? If you guessed a peanut, you were correct.

Double Rainbow

Last week, after a good rain in the Tri Cities, I noticed a double rainbow in Johnson City. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera with me. However, George, a WCQR listener sent me this pic of a double rainbow he saw in East TN.
